Exterior of Kennedy's

A Family Affair...

In June of 1981, with a great deal of courage and determination, Dennis and Carolyn Kennedy realized their dream- owning their own restaurant. Dennis was a renowned chef in the area serving restaurants such as the Maridor and the Sea & Surf in Framingham. In 1973 he was asked to develop and operate the Coach Lite Restaurant on Main Street in Marlborough. It was at this once popular gathering place that many loyal friends convinced him that it was time to venture on his own.

The whole family from his mother who kept the records, Carolyn who did the interior decorating and menu planning to their children who did whatever was needed, to the countless friends and relatives who worked side by side all helping them achieve this dream.

Kennedy's is a known gathering place for office holders and politicians who dine here often and stop by on their campaign trails. The Restaurant's popularity has grown across the country with people ordering the delicious Delmonico potatoes and special marinated sirloin tips shipped to their vacation spots and family members as far away as California.

Throughout the years with their children and many hardworking, dedicated employees, Kennedy's has grown into a Marlborough landmark. The family and staff hope to continue to serve generations to come!

We have been lucky…touched by many customers, suppliers, friends and family. Along the way we have made terrific friends that are now part of the Kennedy family.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Kennedy family!
